God's love

Two thousand years ago, God came in to this world as a man. He lived a perfect life, free from sin. His name is Jesus. Jesus came from God so whatever he said or did revealed who God is. The words of his mouths and his actions reflected God in every aspect. Jesus performed plenty of miracles including, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, opening up the deaf ears, enabling the lame to walk and not only this he healed every kind of sickness and disease. How can we forget the miracle of multiplication of a few loaves of bread to feed many thousands.

All of these characteristics of God reveal that he is a good God. This God cares for us, knows our needs and wants us to be happy and fulfilled. More importantly, this God wants us to have a Father child relationship with him.
So what caused God to step in to this world as a man? Why did Jesus come in to this world? The answer is simple, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Sin is a big wall which separates us from God. Due to sin we can’t have a relationship with the one who created us for the very purpose. We try to fill this gap with other things. Sin also results in an eternal separation from God. But the most important thing is that the penalty of sin is death.

But we have a good news, we can be free from our sins and be restored back to God. You may wonder, how is it possible? It is not possible with man, but it is possible with God because Jesus took the penalty of our sins and died on the cross for the sins of the whole mankind. The God that created us is a loving, merciful and compassionate God. He does not want any one of us to be lost in hell fire. He came in to this world to rescue the sinners, like you and me, so that we would not be lost but have eternal life.

In order to receive the forgiveness of sins, the Bible tells us to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal savior and to believe on him with all your heart, mind and soul.

Romans 10 :9 says , That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Dear brothers and sisters our God is longing to have a relationship with you today. If you hear him call, do not step back but move forward and accept him in your life. He is the alpha and the omega, he is the unchanging and everlasting God. When you accept him in your life you will be a new creation and you will enjoy the joy of salvation. This joy which comes in to your heart is above all other fun and pleasures of this world. Experience this new change in your life, when you hear his call, listen to him and obey him. Amen.
